I don't eat a lot of meat, so it's not something I typically include in my meals. However, this chicken teriyaki dish has found its place in my meal rotation.
I love serving this chicken teriyaki garnished with sesame seeds and green onions, adding a hint of nuttiness and freshness to the dish. It pairs wonderfully with a bowl of steamed rice, allowing you to soak up every last drop of the delicious teriyaki sauce.

  • 2 pounds chicken
  • 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
  • 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
  • 1⁄2 cup olive oil or oil of choice
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes

Pre-heat oven to 400.

Place chicken and all marinade ingredients into a zip lock bag.

Marinate for 3-4 hours.

Place chicken and sauce into a 9 by 13-inch Pyrex dish.

Bake until chicken is done - about 30-40 mins.
