QUICK AND EASY BEEF STROGANOFF

This easy beef stroganoff is one of those simple, comforting meals that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Ground beef, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream come together in a creamy, hearty dinner made with just a handful of ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (8-ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.5-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS
  1. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned and no longer pink, about 5–10 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Stir the cream of mushroom soup and garlic powder into the cooked ground beef. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked egg noodles and gently stir until everything is well combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Optional Additions

For a little extra flavor, you can add a small diced onion while browning the ground beef or stir in a splash of Worcestershire sauce with the mushroom soup. Sliced mushrooms are also an easy addition if you like more mushroom flavor.
